Most of the Offshore commercial vessels are simply designed as a workhorse that carries allot of cargo and or is built for construction work among other things

Pick the hull to overperform
The hull form decides the speed of the vessel which also reflects in the comfort of the ride, A vessel with a design speed of 15–16 knots will be a much more comfortable sea vessel when cruising at 10-12 knots than a vessel that has a maximum hull speed of 12 knots, Just in this choice alone we have already incorporated part of the equation in achieving pleasure.

Evaluate the power plant for the long term
The main machinery systems must be of a known brand with good global support and be still in manufacture for spare parts that will be required for ongoing maintenance and repairs. Better sea keeping with a better economy in fuel consumption, hence more cost effective.
